Perth's Dining
Besides from shopping, nightclubs, bars and discos, there are some excellent restaurants in Perth. These places tend to serve Australian food - traditionally steaks and seafood - but they do so to a very high standard.
Of course with Perth being a winegrowing region, most of these restaurants feature and excellent wine list. Other than the high-end upmarket restaurants, there are also many ethnic restaurants in the area. With the weather Perth is gifted with, much of the dining is being done outdoors.
Situated right at the top on the 33rd floor of St. Martins Towers, one of the highest buildings in Perth, the C Restaurant is a revolving restaurant that offers a fabulous view of the Swan River, Rottnest Island and all of Perth. C attracts a particular hip crowd, as well as tourists looking to experience the best views in the city and of course, delicious food.
The a la carte menu served at C tends to be seafood-based with a few meat dishes such as chicken, lamb or duck. Entrée options lists sashimi, fresh Sydney rock oysters and gnocchi while mains include prawns, Atlantic salmon and lab s rump. A set menu is available for parties of ten or more. The C Restaurant is also fully licensed and besides having an excellent wine list, can create any cocktail you order.
Colombo s menu offers a range of healthy dairy and non-dairy products.

You can choose to dine out of doors as the restaurant provides outdoor seating on the pavement. Their selection features many delicious treats including soft serves such as Georgia Peach, Brazilian Banana and Simply Vanilla to name a few. Also available are Granitas, fruit salad, waffles, sundaes (like chocolate, fudge and fruits), freshly squeezed juices, thick shakes and milk shakes.
You could dine at Lamont Restaurant that serves a reasonably priced fare with particular emphasis of course on fish and steaks. Or, enjoy a superb evening of theatre or dance along with your food and drink at The Quarry.
This renovated limestone quarry set in natural bush with the city lights serving as a backdrop offers a perfect location for an evening out. The Quarry has a program that is an excellent mix of professional and amateur acts and at the same time offers a quiet little café, a licensed bar and a pre-ordered hamper service.
Of course there is also the other option popular especially among the locals: bring your own picnic.
